WALSHAM-LE-WILLOWS 4
HARWICH & PARKESTON 2
5th January 2008

Once again Robbie had to make changes again for the game, Hughes Carmichael & Matson out through injury and young Sam Eldridge unavailable. Scott Page coming back in and Jimmy Chatters playing along side him up front
Harwich kicked off on this heavy pitch and should have been one up in the first minute when Chatters shot from the edge of the box which just flew over the bar. Two minutes later the Willows took the lead with a shot from Musgrove.  Harwich should have pulled one back instantly when Page turned and shot wide. It was the Willows, however that went further ahead when from a free kick Partridge shot home.
Harwich started to get back into the the game, Morley's free kick brought the best from the home keeper and a few minutes later Harwich went one better, Page latching onto a Tony Chatters cross to make the half time score 2-1.

From the kick off Harwich pressed forward with out much luck, ten minutes into the second half a defensive mix up allowed Musgrove again to run forward and put the home side three up, Wootten then dropped a shot and Brown shot home for number four. It was then the turn of the home keeper to make a mistake which allowed Page to head the ball into the net for his second. In the last ten minutes Harwich pressed forward with Page shooting just over and a few minutes later with the home keeper making a good save, again from Page but it was far to late for the visitors, if they could have played like they did for last 10 minutes it could have been a different story.
