FELIXSTOWE & WALTON U18s 2
HARWICH & PARKESTON U18s 3

With Lee Peacock unavailable due to college commitments, Harwich shuffled the pack bringing Lee Sharp into the back four, Luke Good to right hand side of Mid and Luke Randall into the centre of midfield, Harwich started brightly and played quality passing football using both flanks well and supplying the front two of Mann & Warren with quality ball. In patches Felixstowe controlled small areas but failed to really concern Harrison in the Harwich goal.

Harwich took the lead midway through the 1st half from a great Phil Taylor in swinging corner Daryl Johnson rose above the Felixstowe defence to head home. Harwich once again  started the 2nd half playing some of there best football of the season, Luke Good terrorising the Felixstowe down the right, Harwich scored a well taken goal through Dom Warren only to see the referee blow the whistle for a foul seconds before on Luke Randall, but it did not take long for Harwich to stretch there lead, Michael Hammond broke down the left and directed the ball with precision and pace into the corner of the goals from 20 yards, great work and tenacious play from Luke Good who went on a mazy 40 yard melee into the Felixstowe half  before unselfishly squaring the ball to Ollie Mann to add the third. With 20 mins to go Harwich made enforced changes Lee Sharp pulling up injured being replaced by Phil Lewis and Dom Warren replaced by Andy Hammett, for some unknown reason this unsettled Harwich who went to pieces the shape and formation non existent this gave the impetus to Felixstowe who scored two quick fire goals and with Harwich now creating nothing going forward the last minutes of the game saw the Harwich Management and supporters faces drop, but fortunately for them the Referee's whistle went and Harwich travelled home with the points and a 5 point lead at the top of the league. with no game next week, Phil & Mick the Harwich managers will have time to correct small issues before the home game against 2nd place Long Melford in a fortnights time.
