NORWICH UNITED 2
HARWICH & PARKESTON 1
18th August 2007

Robbie had to make several changes for the game today with Tom Brannon and Liam Morley being away and Lee Underwood calling off sick Friday afternoon. Lee Race coming in for Tom at left back and Lee Nash coming in for Underwood. One good bit of new was Jimmy Chatters declaring him self fit for the game and he was named as one of the subs.
With a strong wind blowing across Plantation Park, Harwich kicked off with the wind. It was end to end football either side looking to break the dead lock, after 15 minutes Nash was pulled down in the box and the ref pointed at the spot Martin Claver stepped up to take the kick and giving M. Hill in the Norwich goal no chance,  Harwich went in 1-0 at half time.

Second half Chatters came on for Luke Jones,  within 3 minutes into the half Norwich pulled one back, a header following a free-kick, it was bad marking by the Harwich defence. Harwich pressed forward but with no luck, the Norwich keeper pulled off some great saves. 18 minutes into the second half Norwich went further ahead with another soft goal.  Kieran Johnson was pushed up front to try and salvage something but with the clock ticking away Harwich did not look like scoring again. I think some of the Harwich players have to ask question of themselves, they just did nor get started and let themselves down and the manager so second defeat with in the week for Harwich and giving Norwich there second 2-1 win of the week.
